Close range splashing Brawler. Replace ERLL with LL if you worry about heat. I like it so I have something to do before engaging up close and personal. You can also take out a DHS and get AC10 instead. You you I will do this build. Probably what I will end up using, a bit slow though.
Not sure about the first Build. I'd drop the two MLas and go for more Ammo and hence easier Weapon Management: I like the idea of the second build, but i`d rather go for Dual LPLas and more Ammo: or if you don't fear the Heat:
