Any Gold Sightings in the Area?

I remember killing one during the second public test
I also saw one or two more. Needless to say, I'm amazed to see so many of those gold mechs.

Last time I checked the clan preorder page the gold Timberwolf was sold out. I don't know how many they sold but that makes at least 50 (except if they lowered the amount of mechs available, but let's not be paranoid).

 

It's more than 50 - I think there was a message that there are "only" 50 available at some point.

 

Seen 2 Warhawks and a Nova so far but not been looking.

 

Saw a gold timber wolf and then Errodien in his gold adder the game after. I asked him for a picture and he proceeded to follow me half the way around the river city citadel shooting flamers at my back.

 

The one that surprised me, I saw a gold Kit Fox. Although after playing the Kit Fox it doesn't seem like such a bad choice, with the ECM arm its a pretty good little mech.

 

Can't wait to kill those golden chunks.
For Kitfox, just remember to equip one of the config S side torso for the JJ (or the leg if you really want lots of them, but I don't think the penalty is worth it).

You can indeed do 2x CERPPC but I don't think it is worth the effort.

Not the best pic, but I was on the same side as this golden DWF while piloting a DWF(non golden, though) of my own.

 

One of my clanmates has a few of the gold mechs, and gets teamkilled for it. :|

 

Ironically I've not had that in my gold at all but I've noticed a massive increase in retards in IS mechs deliberately shooting up clan pilots at the start. Always using lasers on legs so people might not notice. Retards of the highest order.

Last time I waited till the pilot went in and "accidentally" shot his right arm ballistic off from well back so he never realised it was me.

Then there's all the idiots raging for clanners dying... when they already died... the irony is not lost on me but apparently it is on them.

 

I actually got in 5-10 games this weekend after not having touched MWO in 4+ weeks. I didn't see a single gold mech. In one of the matches someone said they had one on the other team but I never ran across him (damn Mordor was too big for my Stalker).

I also haven't run across the Clan Mech Shoot 'em Up at the start of matches but then again mostly all I've seen is clan mechs. About 2/3 clan and 1/3 IS.

 

More IS is showing up now. Bust still many Clan Mech.
Well, it is the thing we need to level.

 

Yeah though ironically I'm sitting in Au tz levelling up my last 5 IS med atm. Not sure if its the Kintaro's that are awful, me or the team but I'm getting 1-3 kills in each battle and losing every one.

Makes grinding xp for the master slots on them very dispiriting.

 

Had 2 matches with a player in a DDC called Onimusha shin today where he loudly talked about were there any gold mechs to tk. Saw there weren't and pulled the plug.

Now thats the sort of useless waste of space the game could do without as the retard cost us a 100 tonner every match.

What's going on in those people?

I do have strong reservations against Clan players way back from the TT times, when the Clan tech attracted the kind of people that thought that the hot tech made them better players.
Which it did not. They fell apart quickly when reminded of the honor rules. Mostly, even without reminding them.

But I'd never get the idea to harm my own team just to vent my feelings against someone I don't even know...

Nevertheless I did hope we'd get a matchmaking that would seperate Clan and IS teams...
