2015 CUSTOMER APPRECIATION REWARDS MECH... Now the paintjob seems ok, but do they really need to put such shitty hardpoint on that CDA?
Well, it doesn't have to be great. I mean, having 6 energy hardpoints is not too much to ask for, right?
well it has EIGHT JJ's - sooo put in 2 ERPPCs and ull get the return of the Jumpsniper.....^^ 6 would BE great btw
God. I can take a CDA with JJ and 4x Energy hardpoints, but DAMN! The Nova is, to quote Jeff Goldblum, "One big pile of shit."
At least the Nova is an OniMech so you can change the pods. If the Cicada came with those hard points.... woof.
Does this mean I need to install MWO to take advantage of getting these rewards? Guess I'll have to get my computer stuff moved over to the new place and MWO installed.
As long as you qualify for the certain tiers, you always get it the next time you log on. I've taken several month spans off this year. (burnt out/annoyed/apathetic) And each time, I had new injections into my account for "giveaways."
I think I qualify. Either way makes no never mind to me. My Marauder is coming and i'm going to probably purchase it to some degree before the 29th. If that happens that is the mech I will play because it is the mech I have always played in TT (unless forced to play something else). I have no intention of coming back to MWO as hardcore as I was once before so casual play doesn't restrict my class/size.
Cicada - OKish mech. ECM is missed a lot here as the quirks are more or less mediocre and hardpoints are limited. Wolverine - awefully bad mech. This variant simply sucks in MWO. Bad quirks, but the hardpoints available are even worse. This thing simply is far too limited. Zeus - see Wolverine. Aweful quirks and hardpoints. Nova & Executioner - effectively offer a +C-Bill CT for those players still in need of one. All in all the first year Loyality variants (CN9 -AH and KGC-000) were great and felt like a true reward while this time I already considered getting in touch with PGI's customer service for removing most of the (L) variables from my mechbays.
Zeus not too bad. Quirk is a bit missing yeah but the hardpoints are ok. I was going for the 2xAC5 approach with SRM.
