On general principle I avoid an XL in every Assault unless absolutely necessary. Too squishy.
Understandably, but the greater speed potential lets you keep things at a decent range.
I still love this build. All around fun/mobile. I translated it a bit into the Firebrand. Doesn't work quite as well, but the c-bills help.
I prefer the 3xPPC build (posted it here). Simply because it runs cooler and I can use it more in the midrange.
