I did some testing and even without BAP I can get locks out to 940m so I don't see that helping much. It didn't impact lock time at all.

No, but it lets you get locks on 'Mechs with ECM. I guess you could go AMS instead.

BAP lets you lock on faster, just like artemis except artemis is much heavier and spread reduction not really needed LRM10 and below. Besides that you can't be countered by some ECM light getting in your grill. In MWOs current state, the most effective/damaging LRM boats are ones that can boat multiple 5's.

It counters 1 ECM within the range of 360m. It works the same way as an ECM in counter mode.
