You can take out the ML for even more ammo, but I find it enough.

EDIT: The ML version seems to perform better so far.

 

Love the Quad-AC, running the XL300 build... totally rocks

 

I ran the XL300/MLas version. Is it good? Well, I'll just leave this here as an answer (this is from the 2nd match I played with this thing. The first match was a loss worth over 3400 experience, then this

What band/song were you playing at the beginning? I absolutely love heavy metal opera bands like Nightwish and Damnation Angels. It sounds like Nightwish but it doesn;t seem like any of the songs I've heard.

 

It's actually from the Red vs Blue soundtrack. Can find the track on YouTube, it's called "Extraction". The songs are also listed in the upper left just under the webcam, if you go to 1080p mode

I did more than double ANY player in the game...so no two people combined did as much as I did in this bad boy. GOD I love this mech XD

 

I had a feeling the Black Widow would completely supersede the Cataphract 4X quad AC5 build when I saw its details. Same weapon loadout, better hitboxes, much better hardpoint locations, and the option to strip arms to spend tonnage elsewhere. I haven't rated only because I haven't played it yet, but I'm convinced this will be an absolute killer build.

 

Long time lurker. What's the skill tree look like for this build? This is pretty much what I'm running, but just curious what the skills are. Thanks!

 

It is good.
Lose the lasers and switch to LFE280. With quad AC5s you should be out of medium laser ranges 90% of the time anyway .
