One of the highest alpha, highest DPS knife-fighters you can make out of the Nova without incurring ghost heat. Can be made on any Nova variant, but requires the use of the unique two energy hardpoint left torso from the Nova hero, the Breaker. As with most laser-only Novas, it is best made on the Prime variant which has a -5% overheat damage modifier quirk on the center torso.

This build represents the most lasers you can fit on Nova. It's also extremely high on sustained DPS with 20 heat sinks, but still has a devastating alpha of 47. If you can get within micro pulse range of a lone assault, it will probably be dead before it can counter you. (That's a big "if" because optimal micro pulse range is around 90 meters.)

I think it's better used as a scouting mech. The 72 sustained alpha stormcrow I made from Remover of Obstacles' design 'only' has 6cSPL 5cuPL 3xSRM6, this has much more focused devastation :)

I agree it is probably best suited to scouting. It does work in quick play if you are patient. You can also take down much larger mechs in Solaris 7 with this, but only if you are very precise and manage to surprise your opponent.

I somewhat prefer the 10/12 micro pulse plus 4 HMG for scouting because of better sustain, but if you can pick your map and have a bunch of Novas to equip for scouting, it's totally reasonable to alternate between both.
