Casual BNC-SR "Boogeyman" (1xMRM40, 1xLBX10, 4xMPL, AMS, LE360)

I hated this chassis ever since I bought the Solaris pack. Way out of a new player's comfort zone with an XL engine. I just bought Battletech and it's one of my favorites there with punchbots being OP so I decided to give it another shot. It's a little warm but very manageable. It's expensive unless you have the engine and parts already lying around but between the Tournament pack and all of the events recently 6.5 million C-Bills wasn't as bad as it could be.



Named Boogeyman since my favorite kill so far has been a Nova turning the corner on Solaris City, seeing me, and ceasing to exist. I feel the face lends itself to psychological warfare in universe, similar to the Atlas.

 

Maybe a bit too much spread weapon damage?

 

Maybe. I also owned everything except engine and MRM so that did factor in a bit too.

 

Idk, just a little of min max and having similar range

 

With all the MPLs and the LBX, free up a ton and put a tcomp 1 in there to help with crits. Makes it a respectable brawler.
