Rule #1: FIRE AT EVERYTHING. (You have enough ammo to constantly fire through the match) Rule #2: Never fire all 6 at once.
chaining 2 together is viable, any more per chainfire group are cosmetic (unless you use a script/macro)
What I do is use the main 4 in the torso and just offset with the arms as they get jammed, use the arms for firing up and down otherwise since you can't really look up.
I watched TheFoxyShortbus stream on Twitch with 6 UAC5's instead, and tear it up. Less ammo (he did run out a few times), but he was doing quite well. Most of the time.
How I run it. Except chainfire is too slow! I use FireCTRL and alpha all 6 UACs every 0.335 seconds. They jam, but rarely do they all jam at once and it still spits out enough DPS. Cautions; gets hot with just the UACs, I've killed myself just holding the trigger. Also I run out of ammo every match. But I can't have more cooling and more ammo together, which this build needs.
idk, I think I'd rather run the ultraviolet with 8xAC/2. https://www.mechspecs.com/threads/dwf-uv-cold-quake-8xcac2.11718/ It's got equivalent heat and 33% more weapons. UAC is supposably only able to increase damage by 21%: https://mwo.gamepedia.com/Ultra_Autocannon_5 The choice seems clear.
You aren't wrong, but the Ultraviolet generally requires a cash purchase of some sort as compared to being able to grind 20 million cbills for a standard DWF. Plus it's still fun to spam the shit out of UACs~
