V2 (more ammo, more optimized) 'Ello. I wanted to make a UAC/5 build on the Jagermech, but it is my understanding the JM6-S's tri-UAC build is totally outclassed by the Ilya. Since I'm not planning on spending a billion dollars on a mech anytime soon, I decided to stick with dual UAC's. This build is specialized for long range, obviously. Softening up the enemy with LRM's, and then dakka with the UAC's. I ran some numbers and this build has about a minute of continuous LRM streams, and 2 minutes of UAC fire. That's 3 minutes of constant shooting. Considering you probably won't be firing 2/3 of the time, I think this ammo count is adequate. Don't expect to get too many kills with this mech, it's got pretty good sustained fire but awful alpha. On the plus side, you'll be a valuable asset to your team.
You only have 12 volleys of LRM ammo - I really don't think that's enough. You can barely kill a single mech with that. Something needs to change - I'd say 720 is the bare minimum ammo I'd run two LRM15s with.
You make a good point. I hadn't realized how little 360 ammo was until I did a little more testing... Here's a V2. I'm glad you brought this up, because otherwise I would have never utilized all the slots. Now it is fully optimized
It should be noted that, while this isn't an 'optimal' JM6-A the XL - 210 makes it an excellent companion build for the raven 3L. If you've bought a 3L and 6-A don't yet have the money for a 280 or 300 XL you could do worse than this build. A BAP or TAG couldn't hurt.
