Only battle test its done is a stomp where it did 300 damage in a very short period of time. It comes from a version using the missile replacing one LPL with a SRM6+A, 1,5ton ammo, 1 heatsink and BAP that can easily do 4-600 damage games.
Good build. I run this with an xl360 and it has been very effective so far. It runs a bit hot so the extra speed helps when maneuvering to cool down. Dropping some armor on the legs and head would allow you to put in an xl365. 2 rounds with only basics:
4/5, I decided to try this since I had such good luck in my Wubhopper...it was rough to get used to at first, but I was able to really get it working once I decided to only use the weapons in specific situations. I'm still tweaking the build a bit, but I found that sticking to the LPLs until it's brawl time is the best way to go, and once I'm hot I only use the MPLs. This means you can't really wade into combat, you have to be very careful about what fights you are picking. That said...I managed this match on Caustic without full basics: Can be very dangerous, but like the Wubbringer, you can't lose your left side, or it's over. May tweak it down in heat later though, it's rough to run on some maps.
Sry for double post (didn't want to edit and lose the rating ), should note that it's great at tearing things up, but often bad at getting kills...most of mine got stolen while I was trying to cool down
Finally found a build I like for the 9S (with some small changes), thanks! This was the first game I've broken 1000 dmg in a Zeus, which blew me away because it was on Terra Therma, spent entirely inside the cauldron, in a laser boat.
5/5, Favorite Zeus build. Great deadside shielding and pinpoint alpha even after LPL nerf. I've had at least a couple legit headshots in this guy. Even better after introduction of LFE with more space for heatsinks.
