So i finally built a LRM boat with ECM capability! Limited by Omnipods its just LRM40, however it does achieve its role.
The build does seem to be a bullet magnet, not only are you giving ECM cover to your buddies but also LRMing the enemy. I have frequently been rushed by other mechs in total dis-regard to their own survival.

So stay in the middle back of the line. Move with the crowd, let others get you some locks in the early game. Mid and late game you can try for some TAGing action. The TAG hardpoint is very high, which is good for hill poking, but the current meta seems to favour Autocannons, so you might get your top shot at as you poke.

The twin LPL provides a good additional poke at range for when you can get a clear line without a hail of bullets in the face, and 4 ERSMLs help out when it gets up close and personal.

Now this was a great game:

A few things about the build you provided: first, it uses the Hero omnipods, which can't be bought. You can use this build only if you own at least 1 hero mech, so it should be posted in the "Ravenous" subsection. EDIT: wops, it must use the A variant CT... I steel feel it should be posted on the hero section if it has to use those omnipods, but I'm not completely sure about that...

Second, it completely lacks armor. I'll make my best estimated about how it should have been.

Anyway, finally an LRM build with poking capability.

A few things to try to improve it further...

LPL can and should be high mounted on the torsoes: this will allow you to poke and share your armor if you can't acquire any lock.

If you have to rely on tag to acquire a lock while poking, you are going to lose the trade no matter where the tag is mounted, so IMHO better fire up both LPLs and hide immediately rather than face your opponent/s for a very long time without torso twisting and take all the damage while acquiring / maintaining the lock.
If someone pokes at you, you probably are in the open or not hugging a cover, so you should be able to tag him even if it is arm mounted.

If you really wish to high mount the tag, I would still mount one LPL or another powerfull energy weapon on the other side torso, but I would swap to another "meta", like 1xHLL + NxERML.

Without changing weapon layout, this would be my best attempt.

    1/5,
LRM assault, poor weapon synergy. I'd propose ATMs but I'm struggling to fill 90 tons or find enough hardpoints to make a missile build with more firepower than a heavy unless you go full meme with Rancor omnipods.
