UAC10 is my best friend now. Hotter, but more DPS and more burst if you doubletap. Also, doesn't explode quite as much, which should improve survivability. If 5t is too much (after you add ammo skills for example), you can exchange the CT ammo for a TC1.
5/5, I've used up my two ECM variants so I did this with a C. Really powerful - the twin UAC10s feel brutal as all hell and the 6xERMLs make for solid backup.
4/5, Very good build, but the Gauss does it better. UACs jam and spread. The build doens't have the same efficiency as the https://www.mechspecs.com/threads/bas-a-silent-hunter-2xcgauss-6xcerml-cecm-1xjj.14383/. As such 4 our of 5. Good, but not excellent
You can just about get away with dual gauss in an ecm BAS, but the fact is you are very vulnerable to exploding which leaves you on half armament and 2/3 engine hits. Madcats field gauss far more safely with their arm hardpoints.
Very solid build. Pretty easy to do 1K+ damage in this thing. I only got the standard BAS pack for now, but when I can get the 'd' RT I am going to try an asymmetrical build. A bit light on ammo but with the magazine capacity nodes playing more conservatively with your shots it lasts for most the game. If you need more just drop a DHS.
