I came looking for some fresh SCR-A builds, but didn't see much. So I built my answer to the TDR-5SS. Quite possible to do a 7 MPLAS setup, but I decided to avoid the ghost heat. The final ton is a toss-up between a targeting computer and an active probe. I prefer the latter for CW.
Why cAP on it? I'm running with TC1 instead (in the head) and really love it. Not sure if this little change is worth a new thread, so bumping this one instead. Great build as long as you manage your heat. Mouse1: left pair - great when hugging a wall on your right Mouse2: right pair - great when hugging a wall on your left Mouse3: torso pair - great for poking over Mouse4: alpha strike
5/5, A main stay on my stormcrow. 6cMPL worked great on my hellbringer, but with more speed and cooling it'll work evenbetter on the crow!
This goes to extreme lengths for maximum DHS. Best off removing one and putting that ton into armor, but I just wanted to share this variation. I put all MPLs in the arms, because having all the alpha in one place is insanely valuable. (You could remove a second DHS for mechlab symmetry and put a TC1 in the head)
I'd honestly NOT want to put all my firepower in the arms on a crow; I've had that issue with my Boom Crow and having all my fkin weapons blown off before taking any significant torso damage is far too common.
5/5, I run a very similar build, but even pushed it up to 7xMPL. Split left side/right side staggered shots, and the ghost heat on the occasional alpha isn't that bad.
