Casual BKL-E "Wraith" (6xHML)

Note: The BKL-C right torso gets +9 armor, not shown by Smurphy. Stripping this back to default armor value gains some much needed tonnage. This can be done with the BKL-C left torso as well.

This build is designed to be a striker that hits Assault 'Mechs fast and hard. It uses the mobility of the chassis to get to a good position early, dodge incoming damage, and to cool down after laying down the law. Any 'Mech with big or bad hitboxes is great prey!

While the following video is by no means the best performance of the 'Mech, I think it pretty much shows what it is and isn't capable of:



For skills, I recommend running full Speed Tweak, full Cool Run, double Coolshot+, left side of Survival, full Laser Duration and the rest into Heat Gen.

Super fun and pretty deadly!

 

Cooling+ Variant


Note: Moves the laser out of the left torso into the more vulnerable left arm (to use the BLK-C Left Torso to save ~0.25 tons by stripping the extra armor) and removes some leg/head/arm armor to fit in one extra DHS. I would ONLY run this if you have at least the left side of the Survival Tree.

 

ECM Variant


Note: Uses same methods as above, but adds ECM instead of a DHS. I would ONLY run this if you have both ECM nodes and at least the left side of the Survival Tree.

 

Another legit Lanner build. Not fantastic, but workable. I've seen some running around with even more than 6 HML's, but I'd stick with 6 + ECM.
