As of the September 207 patch, Heat Containment now affects all heat sinks! You have to fire groups of 3 LPPCs one after the other, making it not quite as effective as 2 HPPCs, but the advantage is you can Chain fire all 6 LPPCs to great a stream of lightning suppression (NOTE: and the HPPC cooldown went up to 5s, whilst the LPPC is 4s). 2 HMGs cover you at less than 90m where your PPCs are ineffective
