    this is my favorite load out for hunting lights or finnishing off damaged mechs.

    This was my derivative of the Chunker. Originally it had the 3x SRM6 and no AMS in favor of an extra DHS and looked like this:



    I always liked the dual LBX configuration, the obvious thing is that although it's not as weight efficient as an AC20, it does have higher DPS. My issue with the Chunker build was just how squishy, slow and hot it was.

    I run the LB-10x as my main accompanied by the SRMs, I run the ML as extra dmg/ non ammo consuming weaponry so I could pack in more ammo for my main armaments. Furthermore, MLs generate less heart for an "all alpha, all the time" face tanker.



    I wasn't going to sacrifice ammo or tank-ability for larger lasers. I just advance from cover and ECM and just "SUDDENLY ATLAS" people.

    And here I don't even use ML anymore. More ammo, Max armor, ALL THE TANKING! Less heat generation in my alpha and can torso twist between alphas. This thing will tank if played and handled well.

    Medium laser for pokeability so I don't waste ammo.

    I agree and removed the 2x MLs and bumped up to Artemis.

    I have Zero issues with any kind of overheating and the Artemis, within 200 meters, means I can target specific components. Only mech I won't take on head2head is that damned Dakka Direwolf. Even torso twisting doesn't help against that beast.
