So after a couple weeks of screwing around with Scouting Mode, I was wondering what everyone's settled on so far. Griffins and Stormcrows come to mind as the meta choices (been seeing a bunch of Centurions out there too), but it is interesting to see what people are running now, and how they differ from the meta 12V12 builds.

My personal mech of choice right now is the SHD-2H with an AC-10, 3x SRM4, 2xJJ, and an XL 320 engine to try to keep up with the SCrows. Took me awhile to get back in the habit of SRM brawling against lights, though.

I'm guessing you wanted a g where that e was in your title, so I fixed it for you.

I've tried the Griffin ECM but I lacked speed or punch with the weight taken by ECM and I don't think it is particularly useful for a medium which should be a light hunter. I like the Shadow Hawk, with 3xSRM6+A and 3xMLas with XL300 makes a good build but I've gone with the 2D2 with 4xSRM4 + 2xMLas XL360. The XL360 lets me run like a light but the 4 SRM4 hit hard if only I could reliably hit the legs on those damn Arctic Cheetahs.

For my IS light I have a Raven 3L with ECM, 2xSRM4 and 3xMLas. The Raven is good for collecting data points but it struggles to fight off the Artic Cheetahs and a streakcrow eats him for breakfast.

I do like ISvIS scouting missions a lot.

Playing Vindys as much as I have and since my scout missions turn into brawls after like 3 intel points the AC10+SRM6 combo with the mediums feels so good for fighting. you can leg lights and cripple crows as well as the single JJ for maneuverability

Not a lot indeed, BUT this makes the 4SP tank away a SkillCrow:

    HBK-4SP
    Additional Structure Center Torso +32
    Additional Structure L/R Arm +16
    Additional Structure L/R Torso +24
    Additional Structure L/R Leg +24

The 4P on the other hand only has Structure and armor quirks for his precious RT, which means it will explode very quickly when facing a StreakCrow:

    HBK-4P / HBK-4P(C) / HBK-4PS
    Additional Armor Right Torso +18
    Additional Structure Right Torso +12

Therefore I'd 1-on-1 a SSRM30 Crow every day in the 4SP, but not so much in the 4P.

Yes but duration is 15 and cooldown is 15. Add that onto 9 splas and you can shoot gamma rays into the skillcrows face.
