A build made to my taste. Large Pulse carnage and some Machine Guns to enhance the visual and audio experience. I'm not sure how this will perform competitively, but one is allowed some (expensive) fun too, right?
Normally I'd make a cooling efficiency comment, but this is actually cooler than I expected from you ;P 4 MGs be hungry, brah. As beautiful as that big XL is in that baby, I'd consider dropping to a 330. Same DHS count, 1 more ton of MG ammo means you don't have to be sparing once a component is opened up and in the danger zone. Loss of only about 2 kph and minimal mobility/twist. I may actually take this build for a spin if I wind up getting the BW.
Very valid comment! I essentially drive it with the 340 for the moment because I bought that engine for my first build on the Widow. I will revert to 330 once finances allow it
DEFINITELY been there. Engines ain't cheap, and it's hard enough shuffling them around when you don't need oddities.
wohoho totally trying this for lolz... as for ammo.. I think you think he WANTS to get that close OFTEN... even 4 mg's aren't enough for bruisers, (not even enough for light actually)... they're there for crits in VERY RARE occasions.. and to be a dog that barks at lights passing through... I wouldn't sacrifice speed for any more ammo...
Normally I'm all for speed. But I hate to see 4lgpls squander their DPS like that. Stepping down to a 300 you are still quite quick, but now you can maintain near constant fire with your lgpls. Allowing you to do much more damage in shorter games. 16-17 dhs is the absolute minimum for 4 lgpls IMO. I always try for 18-20. But if you really wanted you could trade a dhs for another ton of mg ammo, wouldn't be a bad idea.
