    Really bored mastering this chassis and decided to run a few matches using this. Oddly effective, strangely satisfying, its the new black.

    Edit: fixed for the bigger engine.

    Speaking of which, did they fix the tube size of victor series? I would love to run 3xSRM6+A on one of them.

    “New Attempt” build looked so good, I bought the mech again and tried it. My experience goes like this:
    • 5 battles out of 10 — all teammates was steamrolled before I had any chance to splat anybody, then I'm surrounded and killed (skill rating reduced).
    • 3 battles out of 10 — my team went ahead and steamrolled the enemy, nobody to shoot at anymore (skill rating doesn't change).
    • Rest 2 battles — I actually managed to do 200-400 damage (skill rating increased a notch).
    Still far better experience than I ever had using Victor, so, a great build I guess.

    Drop the AMS and a tad of armor and you'll be able to stay with the team:

    Or for better cooling:

    Will test this build tonight too. :)

    This build should perform similarly to the classic AC20+2ML+SRM10 Loadout https://www.mechspecs.com/threads/vtr-9s-terminator-1x-ac20-2x-ml-2x-srm4-1x-srm2-1x-jj-std320.1894/

    with the differences that 1. 2LPL instead BFG with more Range and no ammodependency (lower Risk of Ammo Explosion), 2. a bit more Splash Spread, 3. Lower total Alphastrike Firepower, but instead having a higher Critchance and better Heat Control.

    Overall that means for Gameplay: assist Brawl with the 2LPL as much as possible from "safe" distance and if Battle is rolling and enemies got hurt already it's time to close distance aggressively to cracked up Heavies/Assaults and force them into CQC.
    In my experience 2LPL + Splash + Multiple MGs is very deadly if you can get into Optimum range. For that you have Mobility of a Heavy - ofc that requires good Teamplay/-coordination so to play out the strength of this build. Don't expect instant success experience in PUGs. This is not an Allrounder, rather a Specialist (Ninja) Build

    @PyckenZot
    I'm a little afraid of dropping AMS in current meta.
    @Blagg Zear
    Thanks for clarification/advice. I have been found your piloting/tactics recommendation always helpful, hopefully this one is not an exception.

    @dog_funtom I rarely mount AMS. I even stopped using radar dep on most of my builds. AMS works if a full team has it. Otherwise, positioning and timing will help you way more against lurmageddon than 1 little stream of high velocity rounds ;)
