So I was tabbing through my screenshots and stumbled across this... my triumphant return to MechWarrior after a year off from the game.

Yes, and got two kills, but look at that score.... lost all my mediocre skills in my 1DC
in this build

 

So Me and shock are the only ones too admit to embarrassing drops with proof?

 

Sorry, embarrassing drops are too common for me to take screen shots of. I only take screenies of the exceptional matches.

 

Had a match today in my freshly-built ADR-A... in which I forgot to actually assign any armor to the CT.
I still managed to do 410 damage though!

 

So one might know, the first thing I do when I get my hands on a set of new mec is to "initialize it", purging it from the sins of the shit stock build.
So basically : strip everything > add DHS and Endo(most likely) > Rename > paint purple.
Any build work would be after that.

So ... some nights after I was working on my IIC. I am surprised how you can fit many things on the chassis. This is what I did. Yes I actually go through a game with this, not noticing until I am in a game. No I did not survive, but the damage is good. The painful part is that I am now a proud owner of an expensive cXL350

But yes, that's basically how I ended up with the CT-less Adder.. I had a ton of free weight and went "oooh nice, more heatsinks!"

 

Actually I kept most of the loadout, just downgrade it to a cXL300 and SRM4s. And it works almost just as well.

 

I'm not going to post specifics, but my skills seem to drop like a stone with each match. After 5 matches, i'm just hopeless.

 

Had a 35 damage game in my Mist Lynx by running into about one Light/Medium lance plus LRM support. Yay me.

 

So I was on a 500+ dmg and 2+ kills per game spree, then suddenly, headshot... 52 dmg...

I've got one... Vergere posted a TDR-9SE build - 2x SRM6+A, 5x MLas...first drop, Mordor. Fuck. Hot map, hot and close range build... I'm screwed.

But I used those JJ to get to a high vantage point right as a 3xLLas Blackjack did the same on the other side and as the WHOLE enemy team filtered between us, the rest of our team rounded the corner in front of them.

With that distraction, I went full flank, dropped in behind, and CLEANED HOUSE with this amazing finisher build.

Low damage, SUPER killer...


About 25 damage per kill... Ugh... I'm that guy. The Kill Stealer... /shame

 

2 kills, 74 damage, 0 assists Maybe we should have a contest to see who can get the most kills with the least amount of damage?

 

That would fit the spirit of the thread
