    A take on LaznAzn's model.

Six, that's right SIX LRM 5's all with artemis on chain fire, you can barley click the mouse fast enough.

More troll than thuroughbred this little baby does little more that throw off "Incoming Missle" lights and sirens and cause a constant screen shake, sure to harry less confident mech pilots while the big boys do the dirty work. With BAP and a sensor module, you can keep the hits coming!

May upgrade to a 300 XL just so when the atlas figures out where I am, I can get the hell outta dodge.

(Also, Jump Jets, Mythweaver says I always gotta have some jump jets)

Since LRMs are at their weakest, it'll probably be best if you dumped 2xLRM5s for 2XSRM4s. Or you could go with the C1 instead.

lol, this is the only mech besides the first time I piloted a 3uac5 ilya that I actually laughed while playing it was so fun. When enemy mechs are begging you to make it stop, you can't help but laugh maniacally.

I originally built a splatcat for the A1, but I just wasn't feeling it, even with the 2.0 dmg 'buff'. I ran the splatcat to basic and elite, but this will be my build to master:

    CPLT-A1

I needed way more ammo than the original build to last the full fight since you have no backup energy weapons.

    1. You have to stay within 200-300m the main battle group and not the typical lrm40-60 build locations behind the pack.
    2. You have to fire on the spots with the fewest AMS. With 12v12, you can always find a pack of 1-3 mechs that you can just hammer with very little AMS defense.
    3. Usually I target heavy/mediums with LRMs, but with this build, you almost WANT to go after assaults. The psychological warfare of constantly getting hit not only throws people off their game, it negates a lot of players weapon aiming/firing - stopping a ppc stk/jumpsniper in it's tracks is worth it alone for their missed shots.

Ive seen this in a match recently. One of my teammates got this. I must say - What a troll build!

I asked him how much Ammo he has. He said 1800 missiles. o_O

So i tried to reproduce his build:

    or maybe this:

definitely fun to play! but dont get caught by lights, you cant defend yourself in close range..

I've played this build some lately and I got to admit it does have good laugh factor.

The only problem with the laugh factor is that it does have an equal cry factor.

I only gave it 3 stars to balance out the laughing and crying I do when I play it.

Still it's a fun build and I do see myself using it again.

Surat mech that only functions to ruin the experience of others. Two thumbs down on any "rain-maker" mechs

I run an almost equivalent build in a C4 variant :
    http://www.mechspecs.com/forum/index.php?topic=3108.0

4xLRM5 are enough to rain missiles on someone and the 2 MPLas can allow you to defend yourself a bit.

I disagree with you, SiriusBeef. This build is not to ruin other players experience but to ensure your team an advantage on a specific target. I was able to hunt down 2 Atlas and a Victor (in my best and perhaps funniest match with this setup) with the help of a Jenner and a Raven (ECM) only. They were just unable to target me or the light mechs due to this constant rain and ECM.

But this build is really for fun, as a good enemy team will just protect their teammates, and this build works really well only on isolated target.

I love this mech design. I get mixed results on the Battlefield teamates love it enemies hate it. I have nicked named it my "Super LRM Boat". I sit around drop in a few salvos on mechs especially when they are preoccupied with my teamates, and watch their armor and body parts disappear. Definately need the larger engine and jumpjets to escape close encounters. Jumpjets have saved my but multiple times. I have tried the build with some SRMs but even if a light comes running around still end up dead anyways. I always try to run and lure them to teammates with lasers or ballistic weapons and they always are glad to help. To run 6 LRMs in this is a challenge to the piolet. Right now I have 160 kills to 92 deaths with this mech. Need to work Attemis into it to see how much better it can be, will loose some missile but maybe gain some accuracy.

lrm5 are already pretty tight, I don't think I'd waste your time with +art if you already have it setup with the ammo you feel is appropriate.

I'm guessing a lot of us use +art with this build because we moved from a splatcat or a mixed lrm/srm build prior.

If you don't have artemis already, I'd be really tempted to try this to get some extra penetration if you do run into ams shields with 2lrm10 replacing 2lrm5's.
