I have a 4SP and I just can't seem to get comfortable with it. I've tried some of the builds here, plus a few of my own. Right now I'm running with 2x SRM6 + Artemis, 2x MPLas, and 3 MLas. The Artemis makes a huge difference in keeping the missile spread tight, but it's taking up weight that could otherwise go to a LLas, heat sinks, or anything else. Is Artemis worth the weight, or cost, on a 4SP?
depends on what you want to hit. If you want to kill, go with Artemis. If you want to strip armor and limbs, go standard.
Allow me to add to that and say "If your primary role is to hunt fast moving lights then go with standard; wider spread increases your odds of at least a couple missiles clipping the target.
What Vergere and Michael said. Plus--if you strip out Artemis--you can upgrade to 4 MPLas. The shorter beam length which will make your lasers the precision weapon they need to be for light hunting. The wider spread will make your SRMs much better at shotgunning.
I tend to do well in something like this. Note that armor and ammo placements are intentionally less than optimal.
