You could also use both the head's and the upper torso's energy hardpoints to mount double cERMLas. The build will get hotter in total, but the added range may be well worth it. Also, if you have the trigger discipline not to (or seldomly) use the cERMLas in a brawl, this thing runs even cooler.
It's an option, but I don't do it. I want to use weapon modules at best, radar deprivation is not too needed with ECM, so I can run SRM6 CD, SPL CD+RA and Adv. Seismic. The current system wants us to boat I even feel that the SRM punch is not that strong.
How does this compare? by using SRM4 is going to reduce spread, reducing the need for Artemis. Your burst and max sustained dps are up, even though it's a hotter mech.
