No offense meant but you will overheat like a mofo in that thing, 2 L pulse and smaller lasers may work, but 1 salvo and close to overheated is tricky in a hot map
What do you do, when you have hit that 76,8 heat limit (assuming elite and you chainfire to avoid the heat penalty) and someone pushes at you? You dissipate heat at 3,91 which allows you to fire one large pulse every 2,17 seconds to stay heat neutral. This is not a heat effective build which is not good in close quarters, you will not get the time to back off and cool down for 20 seconds that often. Edit: Also, that leg armor man. Not a good idea to go so low.
When you deal 63 dammage most of ennemy will not rush you. But i am agree its not the best build for the Boar's Head.
You can watch your mech melt from the inside after every Alpha, or you can play Ghost Heat management as you troll the battlefield. You wont enjoy this.
With 6 LPLas, your best bet is to keep them on a constant chainfire instead of trying to fire them in groups, though even then I think you can only fire 9 or 10 times before you overheat. Anyways, drop 1 DHS from a torso, equip Endo, and then you can fit in a STD300 engine, the same 19 DHS, and full armor.
As I feel we should always explain votes, I will explain why I gave this two stars. I know TS is aware of these points also so it's not meant badly. Too slow. Ghost heat. Underutilised hardpoints Medium range weapons only means no deterrent to longrange foes Etc.. Still, it will drill at least one enemy to oblivion.
i tried similar on AS7-RS with 4 LPLas and 22 DHS, and the heat is just way too high, even with a mastered atlas with 6 LPLas an alpha would bring you into a 20-30 second overheat i guess =) although i must say its fun
I completely agree with Lan. Every build with more than four LPLas is rather a fun.build and not really effective in the long run. Heat efficiency is way too high. You can't use all of them in an Alphastrike without handicapping yourself. Try this one:
You were ahead of your time. Now that the heat on LPL has reduced and they (perhaps only temporarily) took off ghost heat for 3 LPL, this build again has some potential. I shaved the engine down a slot since I have an XL 370, and it works nicely.
