Going with supporting the new quirks all the way, been running this the past week. Very effective for me, 327m range (with quirk + module) and 129.8 Kph (elited) is plenty enough to usually be where you can both shoot and not be shot. With 16 DHS and the reduced heat quirk I can alpha away to my hearts content.

Jenner's CT can indeed be problematic, but the high mounted arms can be a big advantage. The FS9 has fully actuated arms to start with and also got more than decent MLas quirks. Firestarters need to leave cover for taking partnin combat, though. Although the quirks of the FS9 are very good, using this setup on either JR7 or FS9 probably comes down to personal preference.
