URBANMECH CONFIRMED, new clan mech variants also...

Would love it if they gave the Urbie the same ErPPC quiks as the T-Bolt 9S!

 

Yeah I had that posted already as variant by the time I was posting the 9 SPL build, it just came as natural alternative

Time to break the 9kills record but I'm getting it for cbills (unless I can buy the ommipod now, but doesn't seem lickely)

 

I'm really excited what PGI changed on the original design..

Yeah the final details of the engine haven't been released - PGI are looking at either a fixed negative tonnage STD 60 or a changeable engine capped at the Spider speed similar to a more normal IS 30 tonner. Until they make a decision theres no way for it to be reasonably added to Smurfy's.

 

I would say at least make it 200+ when it comes to maxengine rating... with 255 being a absolute maximum.
A 225 max would be good. Fast but not to the point of replacing spider.

 

The Spider hitboxes make the Spider... the Urbanmech is basically a can aka a moving target.

 

The Urbie will be able to call in unlimited air and artystrikes. And like in Company of Heroes, call in temporary guerilla reinforcement Urbies from unoccupied buildings,



I see the Urbie as the Panda, Po. It just is...awesome. At least in his own mind. The Hero mech should have had "31" btw.

 

I was under the impression that Urbanmechs only went 30km/h?

If you're gonna put in a crappy mech, make it cannonly crappy

 

Ahhh you just haven't been paying attention as if we played canon you'd not be making 90% of the changes you do currently on your IS mechs.

I nearly died laughing when a friend pointed out the text on the collection Urbie. That skin might almost be worth $40.

 

Gonna be honest, I didn't notice all that...and now I kinda want it just for something no one will ever see in game

 

Yeah we were laughing about the original descriptions on comms. There are a few of the older hero mechs with amusing descriptions on them.
