The AC5 quirks are amazing on the DC but it's such a tiny mech to fit 2x Ballistics; plus a slow BJ is a dead BJ to me. I think the chassis' strongest traits for duty are its speed and high arm mounted weaponry. Solution? Drop the left arm ballistic for a large pulse laser. Plays just like my BJ-1X with 2x LPL and 2x ML. Who says we need to use 2 AC5's. Pop up, Dakka-Wub-Zap and another Dakka as you hide. Or if you're not being faced, Wub and Dakka away until you get their attention. I group the right arm ML with my LPL but you could always move it to the torso for finisher alpha's but I like to get as much of my firepower over the hill as I can. These little Blackjacks are stealing my heart...
I have made such build in the past, on my BJ-1 with a single ac2 + LPL. Very versatile, daka/LPL for large targets and laser to insure hit on everything that move fast
