**Community Warfare Build** 65 ton assault mech built for community warfare. This is a first drop mech for either defending a base or attacking. Fast enough for Wave 1, plenty of frontal armor and enough on the arms that I can notice (tested mostly in solo drops to test the rear armor). Can trade leg armor for arms if needed. I tried 'balanced' Jagermechs but the min/max Chainsaw and this to me appear as the best Community Warfare Jagers.
This is what I like to run when Dubble Gaussing it on the FB. 5 shots less than yours, but nearly 10 kph faster (which I find crucial for dodging Strikes and peeking in a lowly armoured mech.)
I originally started with the XL225 as well. Good alternative, I just hate building around stupid artillery strikes and so far I figure I still have a slight edge over a whale to waddle out of the way. Plus I like the extra ammo and armor to squeeze in another possible kill or two. When I peak to shoot my ERL is in the same group as gauss to lead the shot, group 2 is just the gauss so I can charge it right before I crest if need be and after I take a shot im backing out of the way and looking around for smoke. I only had a chance to run this in 2 rounds of CW but both times I managed to avoid any serious strike damage.
