NICE! I loved when they did this for Halloween, so I'll gladly enjoy getting a ton of free bonuses this time. Gotta stock up on bonuses!! Even better, the requirements are laughably easy. CW ones could be hard for those who get stomped (though you can easily take a snipe build to get the 600 or so damage you'd need), but the regular mode ones are cake (30 match score? We could do that while brain dead).

 

My wife is going to kill me, but i have to set up MWO on my old laptop and play during our vacation

 

Now if only I didn't have family visiting for Christmas this weekend as no trains here over Christmas itself.

Coincidentally ... 30 pts in a normal game.... essentially don't get volleyed without firing your weapons.

 

I like the 25 games limit, basically play, but don't get addicted, it's XMAS !

Well at least if it's like it think assault+skirmish+conquest 25 and 25 invasions, for a total of 50.

If it's 25 for each non CW mode now that's a lot

The game Limit is a very nice idea to prevent some gamers from sitting the hole XMAS time in front of their PCs. But i think ist also a prevention from farming to many mech bays and MCs (the more you win the less you buy from PGI )

 

Will be interesting to see which it is...I had thought it was 25 for conquest, 25 more for skirmish, etc. I wonder if attack/defense are considered the same for CW...if they are all separate, that means up to 100-125 rewards if you go nuts for them. Popped Russ a tweet to see what he'll say.

 

It is 25 gifts per game mode. So you can get up to 125 gifts in case you have no family or friends

My friends play MWO anyway. Aaaaand, it's not like the challenge goes only for 12 hours. You got plenty of time to grab those socks.

 

It's a neat way to get 100 games out of most actives and get the inactives to come back. Again, nice marketing PGI.

 

The 25 gifts limit would have been good if there wasn't naughty items.

 

Basically it is a good call. Easy to get, but don't consume too much time. So we can play and get a bit of stuff, but without taking up too much family time.

Wishing for some mechbay, and maybe a lumpf coal... I am a bad pilot...

 

Still have 3 mechbays I need the c-bills for to fill with mechs,... darn those dropbays and multiple module requirements,...

Just give me MC please. I have been a real good mechpilot, using quirks wherever they presented themselves!

The notes say you have to "redeem" to get the rewards. Does that take any action on our part or does it inject automatically?

Also, is there a list of what rewards you've received or do you have to keep close track of your various accounts to find out what you got? I wasn't playing during the Halloween event so maybe that's why I'm ignorant.

 

Both. You have to redeem the prizes on the homepage, and there you will see what you get.
IIRC it was on /tournaments.

 

For people who can get on mechspecs but not mwomercs (due to filters at work), what is the start/end date for the event?
