One of my biggest problems with the Gargoyle is the lack of FLD on clan weapons and it's reliance on energy weapons. My solution? PPCs for pin-point(ish) long range fire. SLAS for short range twisting. It's pretty simple. (And almost identical to another build except with LPLAS) Just put left and right arms on left and right click respectively and the two CT lasers on a third button. Find some ankle deep water, chain fire the PPCs and when they get close use your small lasers. It keeps relatively cool on most hot maps. Just don't fire when you're getting heat warnings and you're fine. If you're so inclined you can swap a DHS out for a TC1. What do you think?
I would pass on the PPCs (no as PP FLD as IS due to splash)... for the amount of heat they generate and there slow travel time... I stick with the 2x LPL.... Also front load your armor more... you are running a 80kph+ mech....
