First time posting, long time lurker, and have got many good builds from here.

As for the GAR, I feel this is around the maximum level for a Gargoyle laser vomit build. I have already seen a couple of very similar builds, but none of them have matched up for heat efficiency and sustainable DPS like this build, which is why I see this build as the de-facto laser vom.

 

This the best I could come up with.



This mech looks extremely underwhelming on paper

Such a pity, as it would have made the perfect addition to a 240 deck.

 

Eh I don't run AMS on any of my mechs, so my playstyle is fully compensated for it. The sad truth is AMS won't save you from being lurmed into oblivion (e.g. NARC), and if you are only taking light LRM fire the bigger issue is that you are getting hit with it in the first place.

 

I use it to protect teammates, not myself.

 

You'd be better suited running ECM if you are looking to protect your team from LRMs.

 

"Fit in... where you get in..."

Its why none of my Hellbringers are without ECM... however the Gargoyle does NOT have ECM but can help with AMS..

 

Great build. Besides changing some armor around, this is my build for the D.
