SOLVED New Site Design

Generally very nice, don't like and/or think the background picture looks odd, there is a hint of it on the right hand side (but the vertical lines are distracting) but it is just a black border on the left hand side.

I think personally I would prefer no background picture...

 

Find me one to work with and I can adjust it.

 

One with a bit of a pilot-mchanic feel would be good.

Can you provide a screenshot of this for me please so I can see what you are talking about? This could be a resolution issue. I run at 1920x1080 and it looks fine to me.

 

This is how it looks to me... I've moved the edges out to provide moar mech visiblity but again its resolution based right? I have also reduced the image size by over 50% with this method which allows for a significantly faster load time AND reduced bandwidth consumption.

 

Refresh the background. It has since changed. Screenshot it again after.

Best resolution is 1920x1080 for this site. I was able to do some editing to the image that makes it spread a bit more and allows me to put the Raven on the side and the Centurion on the other so that we have "moar mech" while still preserving the top portion of the title.

 

Yeah this is the best look for mechspecs yet. Did like the old cent pic though. Also Enilephs pics are awesome. Especially the Hunchback

 

Yes I am on 1920 x 1080 as well, strange on my work computer the black border is on the left, on my home computer there is a black border on the right!

 

Nope :-( I am on Chrome and zoom/view is 100%, if I "zoom" out to 90% or go full screen it looks OK.
