You CAN get the 2 ERPPC/1 Gauss combo, but you'll have paper thing armor if you do. Careful! Can also strip the lasers down to ERSLs for more ammo, or remove them completely for ammo and heat sinks
Why not put the Gauss and ERPPC into the high mounted torsos? Unless you really want those arm actuators. The value of those high mounts far out-weighs actuators IMO. Here is the version I will be running. Plenty of ammo, should play like my Nova Tart build except trading jump jets for armor, ammo, and ECM. Should do well. I might drop some ammo and drop to a TC1 to boost the arm armor for torso twist shielding. Keeping the cERML backup weapons: cERSL spam backup weapons:
Yes. more items to spread crit damage. Gauss ammo doesn't explode so it works well for crit protection.
Copy, a good idea, I think I'll do that too! My own variant, right now, it's this: Still not sure if I should put the 2 small laser in the torso, I kept them there to take advantage of the lower arm actuator, it's useful, especially if I'm in a high perch sniping and targets reach the base of the perch.
You should definitely switch that Right Torso omnipod to either a Prime or an "A" and put the Gauss rifle in there. You want that Gauss rifle to be mounted high so you don't hit hill or other obstacles (like friendly mechs). The beam weapon locations is personal preference however. Either the arm (for actuators) or in the torso/head (for high-mounts).
Good advice, in the last matches, I actually realized that the Gauss was too low, kept hitting ground instead of targets... Who's the one in your avatar, Jaime Wolf?
