For those who find the 6xML builds too hot, this is what I've been running on my Jenner-F. I run the medium lasers in separate arm groups, with both smalls on a third grouping. Over the -D (still my favourite) this is a nice change of pace with better heat management and no reliance on ammo (as well as being a touch faster than my typical -D).
I've thought of this. There are 6xSL builds out there, but I think if you're going to use smalls you should still have mediums for maximum effectiveness at range. This basically takes the standard Death's Knell build and adds a bit more power at 90m (and JJ). If you want a name, how about Christmas Special, after the red and green?
That's a great name skribs! I'm absolutely stealing that if I can figure out how to change the thread name. After posting I went back and tried the 6xML build, which is probably a first since getting elites on the chassis, and can honestly say that the heat management was not appreciably worse than on the Christmas Special. I ran the same weapons grouping, giving me three volleys of 2xML for better management. Will have to check out the performance on Caustic/Tourmaline, but I might have (re)converted to the full medium laser build.
I tried this few weeks ago. I finally came back to the classic 6ML variant but it was a good build (a friend of mine is always running it with success).
The 6 ML JR7-F is a true beast, but can get hot quickly on the warmer maps. This is a loadout I thought about as well, but since the F doesn't offer many variations, it doesn't make sense to start another thread. The only thing I'd change is rearranging the jump jets from the legs to the torso for added crit mitigation.
Here is some runs with this Jenner loadout: this one on Terra Therma, too http://i1211.photobucket.com/albums...nt2013-12-2521-03-58-43_zps4dd42531.png[/img] on hpg its a real blast to run around at 150+ and blast away at Rear CT
