Heavy Metal Jem Glam Jam 2.0 (1x Gauss, 1x ERPPC, 2x MLas, 2x SRM6, STD310)

Removed the 10 tons of jump jets to make a more on land brawler - was able to remove the XL engine and slot a STD 310.

This is meant to be a brawler more then anything - I would suggest placing the Gauss rifle and PPC on the same trigger since this is your big damage. Keep the SRM6's on a single key and same with the mediums. The loss of jump jets is the negative - cant pop-tart - but if you are good at brawling you should be fine as long as you remember to just protect your left and not extend too far from the group. Remember - having friends close is always better then getting ganked by 3 lights by yourself.

 

Updated Optional Variant - Removed 1 DHS + 1 ton SRM (I hardly go through 200 with 2 SRM6) to add Artemis IV to the mech since I have noticed that the tightened grouping is definitely better with torso mounted SRM's.

People probably dig this one more for the survivability of it.

Shame about the jump jets though!??!?!

I agree but 10 tons is a lot of flexibility you can play with.

Nice video. You certainly make good use of the build, and it seems to work for you. I prefer the Jump Jets personally, and your load out seems to run to hot for my tastes. Still worked nicely for you.

Again very nice! Love seeing proof that running a standard has advantages when you lost that side torso. I would also love to see a video of how the mech runs in a solo drop by you.

holy crap is this build awesome... i'm using a slightly modified version that keeps 2/5 JJ

 

Did you bother tweaking the armor to max the torso and arms? The default armor spread is nice, but I'm never sure if people intentionally leave it on the stock armor spread or not.

Great build by the way, love piloting my Highlander with it.

Not really - I am planning to go back to this build but in order to compete in the meta now of poptarting I had to modify it - I will post the new one up in a different post.
