Not actually a troll build, but first a few things to point out: -No endo steel. This mech really doesn't need it. -You can only fire 3 at the same time, 2x2 is how you're supposed to do it. You'll end up at 90% on hot maps -MLas are only there to get lights off your back, and for firing when you're already hot. -You'll want the advanced zoom mod. You're a sniper. Here's the build. Adjust the armor points however you want, I just pressed the max armor button bc lazy. there's also the laser twin. set the lasers in groups of 3 and learn to aim really well. 26 damage per set of 3. Yes it cools fast enough, no you shouldn't use ER's, yes you should get the laser range 5 module: Have fun.
This is not a good design. This will get you killed in short order. Problems Quad ER is too hot(way too hot) Command console is useless XL in a Stalker PPCs not paired in the arms Have you even run this build?
It's only too hot if you're trying to fire all 4 at the same time. Otherwise firing 2 then 2 after 1 second is quite fine. It's similar to having a gauss cooldown, except without that stupid chargeup. -Command console fills a spot and tonnage whilst providing very fast lockon letting you pinpoint an enemies damaged parts faster (not to mention INCREASED ZOOM for 2x when you dont need advanced zoom) It's handy if you can rip it off your atlas ddc. Theres already max armor, 300xl is a standard XL size people will have readily available from other builds and it'd be kind of dumb to realistically expect someone to shell out extra cbills for an XL315. -Furthermore on XL: You are not a frontline mech with this setup, yet you have the full armor of an assault mech making you a strong peek sniper. -PPC's not paired in the arms is fine, and allows you to use an arm as a shield whilst only losing 1 PPC... So now your question: Yes. I run this build, and it's quite nice being able to peak over hills and dish out a snapshot 20 + 20 damage that requires no ammo, just for you to PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR HEAT BAR. Hard concept for a lot of people, I know. Anything else to add?
