WHK-A "Smough" (1x cUAC20, 2x cLPL, cSRM6+A, cSRM4+A)

    So with the current state of the cERLL most of the builds posted here, that are using them, became irrelevant.
    I came up with a build for the WHK-A variant, no omnipods swapped:


    I think this build will work quite well, its certainly not ideal for map like Alpine or any other long range engagement but it can stand its ground with the cLPLs and its cooling efficiency.
    Your main goal with this build is to get close and let them have it with your cUAC20 and cSRMs.

    The cLPLs add special flavour to the mech for me in the game atm as iam really bored of seeing cERLLs, cERMLs and cERPPCs everywhere...

    As to modifications you could do to this build:
    - remove Artemis for some tonnage - more ammo for example if youre trigger happy
    - replace cLPL with cERLL (if you wanna be boring...) to free some tonnage again
    - replace cUAC20 with cLB20-X AC or Gauss if you preffer these weapons

    I'm liking this, the WHK-A pods may actually be useful :D Modifications for more ammo are certainly in order though. Id run regular SRM4s, 2t SRM ammo and 4t of UAC20 ammo.



    I'd consider adding TC2 instead of the 4th ton of ammo as well, extra crits are nice, and using the 4t is not exactly certain considering how long a UAC20 stays jammed. Might even be worth switching to a regular cAC20 just for the consistency.

    Adaptions:
    - Switch the ammo to left and right, so that you can continue to fight, even if one side torso is destroyed
    - Better heat management (42% is really a very nice golden spot for charging in and being able to continue firing on every map, esp on hot ones)
    - Consolidated ammo amount for a balanced spot between SRMs and UAC/20

    In general, the ammo amount of this mech is rather "low" but for my personal playstyle, it fits right in the spot to be out of ammo at the end of the match. 1050 possible damage via ammo alone - if you hit 75% of it you get roughly 800 dmg with these weapons alone plus you lasers. So its is easy getting 1000+ dmg matches AND surviving them, as you can kill the enemy before it can kill you via the high sustained dps (invoked by the good heat efficiency)

    Armor protection is acceptable for the legs, but you do not play a Daishi here. Still, as ammo is rather low for the trade-off of better heat dissipation, you I only recommend this Build for people with a good aiming, as you do not want to waste shots.

    Quirks: 10% faster missile-reload (which is better than 4 SRM6 with Ghost heat for the overall trade-off)
    10% damage resistance on the UAC/20 arm. Not very much, but very nice to have.
