(This one is faster with a Med Pulse in place of the Med Las at the cost of AMS/Beagle/2 JJ)

Fell in love with this mech fast. I made this build to capitalize on everything the WVR-6R has to offer.

You get:
- 6 Jumpjets
- Beagle Probe
- AMS
- Artemis with SRM 6 for incredible pinpoint damage.
- Fast with 97.2 tweaked
- Cool Running. Don't even need extra heat sinks.
- Shield arm that actually has armor on it.

Typical playstyle is to come in after a main engagement, using jumpjets + torso twisting/left arm to spread damage everywhere. Your damage will be on par with most standard Victor mech fits.

If you don't like AMS/Beagle, you can increase engine to XL320 or give yourself extra ammo.

 

I would redistribute the internal components LIKE THIS. Its way safer for u and at a time place each part whr it can be used more efficiently.

 

I like it, I'm just always worried about being ammo crit on CT causing instant death.

Also I've been wondering....does AMS ammo actually explode? or is it similar to gauss ammo in that it does nothing?

 

Think on it this way: if ur CT its plently open and u have nothing there, the criticals goes directly to the engine or the gyro, so having 4 things instead of 2 there its a 3x more chances to avoid in every shoot to be hitted in the engine, that its the part u want to save in the end, cause its the only that causes death. Also its supposed to be the most armoured part of the mech. I allways place ammo in head and CT first and i can count with my fingers the amount of times i have died due to ammo explosion.

About AMS ammo, it deals way less dmg than others, but the only 0 dmg ammo explosion its the gauss. In every single way u can say that MG and AMS ammo deal no dmg, cause the one they do is minimum. Cause of that i tend to place those ammo racks in the part of the mech whr the weapon or system is placed. If i loose that part i dont need that ammo, and i prefer to save the slot in other more secure place for ammo that i think im gonna need.

 

That made me refit prettymuch every mech I have Auriga. Thank you.

Also, you should totally try this build, inexpensive and deadly. It outperforms any AC10/20 hunchback fit/griffon fit i've tried. It's because it has all 3 missile bays clustered in one location. I've been able to get more than a few enemy mechs in the back and instantly kill lights/mediums with a backshot when they dont notice me.

Use the radar deprivation module on it, just so damn OP at times.

 

I completely agree with u. Those clustered SRMs are funny, inexpensive and powerfull

I run them in this mech, my favorite one:



No whr as powerfull as urs, but, man, dropping a full alpha PPC+SRM10, or in ur case SRM18 (urs deal more dmg, approx 25% more), in a light mech and see it BOOM!!! its one of those things that keep me playing

Athenea is my favorite mech just for that

I like with WVR-6R build. My build ditches the ML and BAP for a MPL.

 

I struggled to find a good WVR-6R build that worked for me. This build paid dividends right away.
