This is a build with long range weapons for shooting while closing. When you get in close you want to work the LBX20 and the SRM6's hard, laying off the ERPPCs to avoid overheating. The primary advantage of mounting an LBX20 rather than a UAC20 is that the shots are fired in one volley, lowering the time you have to face the target in a brawl. It is also effective for taking out lighter mechs due to the spread. Note: Not sure why, it isn't showing 2.5 tons of ammo.
I've been using this build. I've only played it 2 or 3 times, but given that I'm generally terrible with assaults, I'd say the average 500 dmg I've been pulling is pretty sweet. I think the fact that I don't have the heat efficiencies unlocked is why I had to drop the ammo and SRM for other heatsinks. But on the other hand, I can more efficiently use the PPCs as a close range weapon and have a much more pin point attack.
My own personal take on this build after the changes to the speed of PPC's. Slight more armour and ammo and it runs a lot cooler too.
I would love to love this mech, I just can't. Especially on the initial post. You lose the right torso and you have nothing left. Try running the A arms instead at the vary least. That way if you lose the right torso you still have your ERPPCs in the left arm. I also don't think you have enough ammo for the LBX20 or SRMs. 3/5
I found after a couple of tests that it's better to run 3xC-SRM4 over 2xC-SRM6, so here is the edited build.
