New comer looking for advices.

The 5M was my favourite of the 3 Shadowhawks to level, mostly because of the Black Hawk build, which was just a great all-purpose fighter.

 

Another question, i just bought my third shadow hawk (have 2H 2D2 and 5M now), and i tried a bit the Jaggermechs and Centurions on the PTS.
I have the C-bills and the mechbays to buy only the 3 variants of one chassis.

I didn't had much time to try the centurions but i fear that the Jag couldn't be what i'm looking for despite the good results i had on the PTS and i already have a K2, even if it's a bit subpar. I just had the time to try the YLW and i quite loved it (AC20 master race).

Is the Centurion a good mech ? What is his role ?

 

It is a fun mech, but not GREAT.
It survives massive damage, and makes a wonderful zombie with a standard engine.
YLW is ok I guess, but what CN9 is good at would be the famous Zombie hugger build.
Firepower is a bit less though, compare to the popular mediums.

Jagers are definitely nice with ballistics. If you love AC20 then Jagers are for you.

 

OK then i'll go for the Jags since i can save like 6,7 M C-bill by buying them now.
