I was wondering when going through my mechlab if the Adder builds actually can create something special, unique

i got disappointed quite a bit...

yes, you can change around omnipods for different weapon pairing

    but, thats about it...

no special quirk on any omnipod, legs got 5% more structure, all of them...

what happened when they actually created it?

Unremovable flamer you could try out as a vision harasser, while the heat increase is still so underwhelming (if it heated up the enemy mech more than it did you, that would be a logical start, PGI)
It also works as an energy machinegun as flamers actually have increased crit chance.

So, try to build something that rips people open and then actually use that usually useless critchance flamer to cook off ammo and stuff. Adding a TC would likely help.

Then again, how many lights do you see running a 10-class Autocannon of any kind?

(switch to LBX10 or AC10 as you please, and/or remove the TC for an extra ton of ammo.)

It's probably the best to treat it as a Blackjack without jumpjets.

Flamers. TC. Increased hit chance. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....this has to be tested. Be back later. :)

    Edit: Back.

And a cAP for even faster weakness and target info. Of course, you should run this mech with the module Target Info Gathering and maybe Seismic to leap out, take the critical and run away.

   ^_^^_^

Edit 2: Taken from the movie desc as I'm too lazy to retype it. ;)

Clearly you should run with 3 flamers, for the crits. XD

Interesting I thought the Targeting computer explicitly didn't help flamers and MG's but i can't find the quote anywhere.

In the original command chair by David Bradley there was the line:

"NOTE: All values are placeholders for example purposes only. Beam weapons include all lasers; projectile weapons include all Gauss Rifles, PPCs, and non-LBX Autocannons."

Its not contained in the patch notes though when they introduced them.

I've been testing 2 C-ERLL with a TC5 and ECM on a Kitfox but not persuaded yet that its worth it as my adder (2 C-ERLL, 2 C-ERML and heatsinks) seems to do a lot more damage and kills.
