With speed tweak this thing can close fast. spam LPL to open a location then let the MPLs and MGs finish it off. Loads of fun and usually unexpected. People see K2s and think they're dealing with some huge AC, but slow, monster. I've surprised a few people in this fun build.

Good build. However, I did some modifications such as AMS and the new Command Console.

Interesting! How is the heat on this build?

The OP's build has a 50% efficiency, so I imagine the heat curve is pretty gentle.

It's probably only slightly worse than the OP's heat efficiency.

    EDIT: 46%

Well, my variant has a certain difficulties on Terra Therma. Expectedly for an energetical 'mech. But, for me, the heat is tolerable. It is best to use this tactics: 3-4 strikes and then take cover.

Don't think CC is too useful for this build though.
Oh if you can consider the loss of MG then this! On a Jester.
A bit less armor, but gained a DHS, JJ and 7mph faster!

If you really want that 16 points of armor you can forget about the DHS.

My build is an K2-build. This means absolutely NO JJ, so your variant makes no sense for me. DHS is good, but CC gives us a chance to fast target info gathering for focusing fire at damaged areas. MG is a last hope when heat is too high to keep firing.
Jester and K2 are the different 'mechs. Jester is focusing on speed and maneuvers, when K2 is about straight fighting (with covering yourself periodically).
