    sounds rather reTarted :p

Hey, why go for the 3rd ERPPC with massive Heat Penalty instead a Couple of C-ERLLas? Just a suggestion if you don`t mind..

    Blagg -

Mobile suppression/sniping platform which can still pose a threat if swarmed. That doesn't mean you're dumping alphas the entire time... does a sniper stand there and just blow entire clips?

When you're at 23, 24 DHS that dinnerplate will cool off before your second bite. A boxer needs to work the jab, this mech needs to work with the 1 or 2 PPC cadences for the vast majority of the time. Supression buys time for maneuvers...

Also, don't miss. That's what lasers are for... That's what the 3rd PPC is for... "when you absolutely, positively, have to take an Atlas head clean off from long range"

The best way I could actually reply with regards to this mechs meta approach would be with this video:

    I hope that makes sense.

Very nice build. Didn't have much problem managing the heat even on Terra Therma. (only shutdown once  ) You can actually drop full alpha strikes fairly commonly with sufficient cover, some times if give the opportunity I was able to chain fire 4 or 5 shots off before pulling back into cover.

The only change I made was to move both ERPPC's into the right arm meaning the entire left hand side can be used for shielding. Old habit from my Highlander days.

I think people will find when TC's come online July 2nd, you'll almost have to include one in every build you can because it's just such a bonus for only 1 ton/slot for the lowest version. Only question is if you drop a DHS for it, or armor. (TC1=Zoom distance: +2.25%, Sensor range: +2.25%, Target info gather: -22.5%, Ballistic speed: +4.5%, Energy range: +4.5%, Crit chance for B/E: +14.5%)

I understand the immense Power of this Build. It`s like a Snipershooter, who can fire with three Sniperrifles together at once. If you could do things like that in Counterstrike - don`t think that anyone would equip anything else. :p

Yeah like I said, if TCs are meta, you can scrounge up the ton for it through the leg armor or 2nd JJ, if its insano-good then go down to 22 CDHS, etc... whatever it takes to get the best TC you can squeeze in it, assuming TCs are any good. I'd start by looking at the full leg armor like you did and stripping down from there. *shrug*

I've tried this in pug games, and the build is so simple and "no fuss" that anyone should be able to run it, not to mention being effective. The only small change I would make is to use the Prime LT and move the PPC from the left arm there. Less elevation firing (only right arm) but my weapons are better protected and the torso PPCs have better weapon convergence than RT/LA combo.

The heat is surprisingly manageable, even when alpha firing all 3 together. I never got used to dual PPC + gauss and this feels comfortable for me. Altogether a great build, you have my 5 stars for it.

PS: This build will probably truly shine when you get your double basics done on the TBRs. I have fun with it even though it's only speed tweaked on the elite tree, and can't wait to get full elites + double basics.

Absolutely man, put the weapons where you want them on this build, wherever you are most comfortable for firing and for soaking.

And yep it's a non-gauss poptart build, I'm partial to energy weps and saw the potential for another trip ppc setup and figured someone else would throw up the double PPC gauss build anyways.

This build is a boss. The psychological effect of getting pinged by multiple PPCs as a suppression agent cannot be overstated. Dat cool down puts this build well above, in my opinion, the gauss + peep build which is plagued by multiple failure modes in my experience. 5 stars buddy.

Like I said previously, I really like this build, more than the Gauss "meta wolf" versions out there.

After my first 9 games (all solo), I had reached a 25:1 KDR in this beast. A promising start to my time in this build.^_^

Edit: Yes this was the first build I tried on my TBR-S.

Ok, check it out... so I took another 5 minutes of my amazing time to give you all another taste of my super meta mechlab genius, with [size=18pt]3 goals in mind:

Goal 1 - make all you guys roll your eyes at this derpy tweak and/or blow your minds and/or get a laugh out of it since this original build is kinda towards the harddick end of the tryhard spectrum

Goal 2 - set it up on a Prime, for those of you who care about that sort of shit.

Goal 3 - well, this is more of an expansion on Goal 1 - take it to min/max extremes. I'd say the real tryhard meta of this mech is between the original build and this little derp experiment, much more towards the original build unless x1 JJ is still legit to run and TCs own...

...and remember, if you want the true tryhard meta then just run the Metawolf with a gauss and dual ppcs...

...anyways, I focused on squeezing in the smallest TC, dropping down to 1 JJ, and stripping lots of important armor - cuz, you know, you are too cool/good to get shot at or get hit, right? And hey, you need more heat management for mindless alpha dump sniping, right??? Who needs to shield with that right arm, pfft... So hey check this out dawg, we put more CDHS in your CDHS so you can tart while you're popping; yo, word up dawg!

PS - ya could find a way to morph this derp shit into huge tonnage for a monster TC...

I upvoted it to "average". ^_^

    My comment:

Why in the Name of Blake take a 3rd cERPPC instead of a cGauss which provides 15 points of PP-FL-nos-splash damage for almost no heat at the same RoF?

    More armor/more jj/more tc1/less charge-up? Not saying 3erppc is better than 2erppc/gauss, but it's at the very least a viable trade-off.
