hey is there any reason why you're not using the prime right arm? the b right arm has a nasty quirk for lasers if you're only using 2
came up with pretty much the same on an A build, it is a very nasty build but i must say if i have another round like this i'll switch artemis for more ammo as i completely ran out PS: having Blagg as cannon fodder definately helps yourself
I also built almost identical loadout: The only difference between mine and Fuzzys build is that i dropped that one heatsink and 1/2ton U/AC20 ammo for one more ton of U/AC20 ammo and more armor. Its awesome build, had many amazing games with it. Easily did 1k+ damage with it in several games.
The quirks aren't on Smurfy's. The arm they're referring to has a 15% energy weapon cooldown penalty. I'm leery of using that 3E arm unless you have plenty of other firepower as the 2E version has no penalty at all. You also need to be careful as some of those arms don't allow lower actuators even if you don't have ballistics/ppc in them Edit to add list of quirks: http://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/161548-clan-mech-specifications/ For once their info was superb!
Caveat Emptor: I just ended up ripping out the LB20X setup because it has a critical weakness - 1 single crit to any of your 4t ammo in your RT and you lose your entire armament as it uses the CT ton first. Any good opponent just shoots there and I lost my entire armament 4 times this evening to a single volley despite trying to shield once I realised what was happening. Firepower looks great on paper but the reality is very different.
Yup, for sure. It's a Very real weakness with the ballistic in the left arm, as you cannot modify the left torso. I've found if I want to brawl with my Warhawk B I'm running this: Though in all honesty my Warhawk B ussually stays in Rainmaker mode.
I've been running this with an LBX20 and one less SRM6 for a little more ammo. I've had a couple 900+ games with it and a bunch in the 500-700 range. It does have a weakness if the torso gets knocked off but no real way to avoid it if you want to put a big gun in the arm. It's especially deadly late in the game if you can lurk in buildings and let your opponents come to you. Nothing like a 60pt alpha in the face to ruin your evening. I give it 5 stars.
