Sunday, the 15th of June, 2014, at 11:00AM PDT / 2:00PM EDT / 6:00PM UTC, and will last for 12 hours. Balance changes and bug fixes. http://mwomercs.com/forums/topic/161160-public-test-is-back-more-clan-testing/
Nice move by PGI. I'll probably download the Test client a play a few matches. I don't have a Clan package so I'm going to concentrate on SRM testing. The Buckton fix is in the PTR build right?
They referenced bug fixes... I reported a couple myself about the hanger (the filter mechs settings were only showing Prime variants etc) .... and balance changes. Bet they nerf the 2 C-GR/2 C-ERPPC setup as its the only pin point damage for Clans. Bet they nerf C-ERML range as its mouth wateringly good atm and arguably invalidates the C-LPL (I'd hope they buff the PL instead but .......) Probably make that CT DHS in the Daishi prime non removable. Hopefully reduce the CT hitbox a bit on the Daishi as its waaaaaay too large atm. There were also some ballistic weapons you couldn't fit properly in locations with plenty of slots. Hopefully continuous fire on C-U/AC's comes back.... Mmh maybe they'll stop us using the Kitfox right arm whose variant isn't in game?
Somehow I think they will not nerf things for the clans too much... yet. Somehow they want people to think it is cool and bu them, esp with MC stuff. The real nerf/balancing will come a couple months later when people all get tooled up with clan stuff. Oh, I am sure the ECM arm is deliberate.
I can put up a stream when the test starts, if I am correct it will be about 8 PM my time so I should be good to go. www.swec.tv or www.twitch.tv/swectv Hmm...might make a separate post about it if Michael is ok with that, I'm not recruiting followers (the channel is really a swedish one anyway so why try to recruit globally) and my only goal is to give other MechSpecers a chance to see what it's all about come Tuesday.
wow i like the new optics. Pretty refreshing somehow. And the Missiles look like blue Flame-Arrows. lol
http://www.nogutsnogalaxy.net/forum/index.php?topic=2116.msg17198;topicseen#new I know people here hate them but that page is quite interesting as they tried a lot of the clan mechs.
Please don't generalize, there are plenty here that feels differently. MechSpecs is where we come to share builds and discuss the game, there's no common ground beyond that really unifies people here. We can think for ourselves. I personally like what NGNG is generally doing since you always must have a positive voice for a game, you just need to keep in mind that some of the NGNG crew have become the PR department in many ways (which is not necessarily a bad or a good thing in every situation). This is off topic and I will say no more on it. Peace.
