Hot, Fast, and Deadly. Nuff Said. This I run. Less ammo, more cool. I prefer this version, as I seem to be using a little more than one ton of MG ammo only. Wish I can carry 1.5 tons of it. Here, the XL225 version:
Digging build #2, but with 3x ERLL. A little hot, but great direct fire support, and luv the cool MGs when the enemy finally closes (hopefully sans most of their armor).
This one could work great as a start-out-long-range-sniping-with-the-Lasers-then-close-distance-and-brawl-it-out-with-both-the-Lasers-and-the-MGs-and-crit-the-heck-out-of whatever-is-left-of-the-poor-things kinda build. I like it. Maybe drop to a 225 engine and lose half a ton of armor from head and legs to add another DHS. But in any case, lots of good range fire with the three LLasers (whether Standard or ER), and a still-awesome crit-machine whenever it comes down to CQC.
Posted the one I had been using for a while. This is the ER version if you like. Good support unit with the snipery death though.
Darn it, epikt. You make it so difficult to choose a favorite build for my arrow. I love the range on this, and 3x LL is really nice on a medium of this size. Add 6 machineguns of glory and it's amazing at practically all ranges. BUT, the short duration of LPLs (and higher damage) would mean that it's easier to open components up for the MGs, not to mention it is slightly cooler (has 1 spare ton for DHS or 2xJJ for a totalof 3 as well). The pulsemaster build from Falc is pure devastation and even more damaging, but there the weapon groups are sometimes a bit meh and the range is less optimal than the other builds. Why can't I just have 3 arrows :'X
I just built this before seeing this thread, I love it. Best build for the Arrow for me so far, screw AC20, those 6 ballistics must be built and when I sneak behind an assault...
5/5, Idea was stolen from me months before I thought of it but still a very functional and effective build for the chassis.
I've been rolling with the 2 LPL 6MG version with a 225, but I'll be swapping to a 3LL version tonight. I kept thinking I just wasn't quite satisfied with the oomph of the 2LPLs, and this looks like the answer I need. Thanks!
