Is it bad when you start having MWO dreams?

Is it bad when you start having MWO dreams?
Have you been playing too much?
Time to fess up MechWarriors.

 

My own experience:

I'm on Canyon Network in my K2 tracking along the west side and I run into Alpha Lance. For some reason they aren't moving, so I line up a headshot on the closest mech, a jenner, and unload 2x AC5 & 2x ERLL and he drops. His buddies see me, and start towards me. I turn, and round the bend at C2 knowing it is probably over because I am the only one left, and I just pissed off 2 Jagers and an Awesome... yet I sit and no one is rounding the bend. I hear my name come over the comms "Michael" and in my head I hear Connor Macleod say there can be only one as the 2 Jagers and Awesome round the bend and proceed to melt me to slagg.... I hear my name screamed over the comms again as I struggle to keep it together... I try to answer but my mouth won't work... I hear my name screamed for the third time with a WTF added....... "Michael, Wake the FU&% up!" I wake to see my wife Michelle standing over me with an odd look on her face, and she asks what I was dreaming about... I tell her while she starts to crack a grin... I stop, and half chuckle What!! & she replies... I made coffee.

EDIT: By the way, does anyone else feel like they are in the opening of MW2 when running through the corridors of this map? There are mechs down at nav alpha... I repeat there are mechs down....
Okay, maybe it's just me.

 

I have fairly vivid dreams anyway, and can lucid dream quite often as well...and I actually had a dream that mixed in some MWO elements the other night. It was a zombie dream...but I wasn't in a mech, I just had a portable ERLLas to slaughter zombies with. And I was daaaaaaamn good at it

 

Short answer... yes.

I prefer to dream about being on a secluded beach sipping Pina Colonics with Scarlett Johansson and doing whatever...

 

Yeah, if Kate wanted in on making a Roosterfish sandwich I'd be cool with that. I could probably find a Roofie Colada for her somewhere in my dream.

 

I have dreams where I can't get a loadout right in the mechlab. Yeah...

 

I rarely dream about video games. (I wish I did more) Most of my dreams are very boring dreams about going to work and working. I did, however, have one recently that involved 'mechs.

I was walking by an old childhood friend's house, when he pulled up in the Blue Falcon (Captain Falcon's ride from F-Zero). I jumped in, and we went racing around town at ~the speed of sound. After some awesome driving with Mute City music playing, he and I decided that we should probably head back (?) to the arena. Apparently, we were also somehow on Solaris VII and were almost late for our 2v2 match. He jumped into a Puma/Adder (I'm from the Inner Sphere, so I go with Puma) and I jumped into a Spider. Somehow we were fighting a Daishi and a Mad Cat, which seemed a bit lopsided. We got into the arena, which was a Jungle map, and set out to find good hiding places for ambush. After some time, we were able to corner the Mad Cat, and as I jumped around, pestering the 'mech with my annoying Spider-ness, my friend was able to core him with some well placed PPC blasts to the rear armor. As we were slowly regrouping, the Daishi caught me off guard, and blew my leg off at the same time he blasted my friend forcing him to eject. As the Daishi turned to finish me off, out of nowhere, Blue Falcon appeared, and Captain Falcon jumped out, Falcon Punched the Daishi, and I woke up as the explosion hit my mech.

I don't know where any of that came from, perhaps, it's because I've been playing a lot of MWO recently, and I started to re-watch F-Zero Falcon Densetsu (Legend of Falcon) anime, but it was quite vivid.
