You know, when you are in front, leading the pack as assault, you wish everyone would follow? Well, NARC the enemy and voilà , everyone will see your target lit. LRMboats will love you, the deathball will roll around you since everyone will see what your foe is doing and how bad he is hurt. Blood is in the water and you will point the way! Weapongroups

LLAS
AC20+NARC (the speed is near enough and it's simple, if you want set them separately)
MLAS
NARC (when you want to be sneaky)
Semi Alpha - all lasers
Recommended playstyle:Frontline, lead the pack, hammer the foe. Recommended modules:Target info gathering, seismic. Possible upgrades would be a third LLAS in CT instead of the MLAS. Hmm.
I actually like the idea of the NARC to condemn your foes to death by LRM rain. However you will probably get focused down or sworn at for it
Oh, the team doesn't mind and noone on the opposing team thinks I'll be using NARC on a Misery. It's damn effective as the team sees all that mech does for 30 secs. Hell and damnation, I was that close to Ace of Spades yesterday. I was running a lance with people on Mumble, two newbies and one vet. We were giving them running commentary on what to do since they're literally on their first and sixth drop, it's good practice to train others. Makes you reevaluate what you yourself do. Anyways, I was calling targets and causing mayhem in my Misery (slightly modified with 3x LLAS, 2x MLAS and a AC10 but still a NARC) when one of the newbies ran off chasing a squirrel against our advice. He died unfortunately but we kept the commentary running, suddenly I realize I'm playing a helluva game myself. Picking off enemies left and right, I didn't headcount but noticed I'm getting more and more kills. At the end I manage to find the last three foes, my three man lance and four blues bearing down hard. Manage to kill a Highlander at long range, then strip a hunchback down to two MLAS, head and one arm when my vet buddy calls for help. I swing around and work over the last mech (a Victor), letting the blues pick up the kill on the hunch (always save a friend) and I get the Vic down to cored CT. He jumps, twists and tries to maneuvre away but the blues roll in, jumping over and swarming the Vic for the kill even as I try to find a angle into the mess. Score comes up and my jaw drops, I've got 7 kills and missed the last two.
