They are also selling cbills now. Not sure why people would buy that though. I mean, even the bonus you get from buying just one day of premium would be more that if you play the game. And yes even buying mech directly with MC is much cheaper than buying cbills with MC.
To be fair, they have had mechs on sale during weekdays for about two months now. They haven't been promotional, but if you ever visit the in-game store you would see them. This is just better advertisement and announcing which mechs will go on sale ahead of time. I feel like people have been saying that for the past 6 months. At what point is it not "desperate" and just a business model? I get no feeling of desperation based on mech sales alone. Buying CBills with MC is just convenient for people that need a little extra for weapons, equipment, and modules. Perhaps they don't have enough mech bays to buy another mech and resell, who knows. I will say that the MC exchange should match the maximum MC you could get from the resale of a mech of near the equivalent MC cost. If "they don't have enough mech bays to buy another mech and resell" then they should be using the MC to get mechbays first? Afterall, mechbays are the most important thing you can buy with MC.
I would agree, but that it entirely personal. Perhaps you are a new player and don't care about more mechs than you currently have. Idk, i'm sure there are people out there that don't want to buy more mechbays as well as more mechs. On of my good friends IRL is perfectly happy not spending money on mechbays, but then again he isn't the type of person to spend money on short-cuts either lol.
I beg to differ but it's not personal, it's just stupid. Even if you need to buy a mechbay the 3.551.523 c-bills you'll get for selling the CDA-2A will cost you 1900 MCs (1600+300), that's 1869 cb/MC, which still is a better rate than the "better" c-bill for MCs package. And you can keep the mechbay.
Well, if you buy mechs while they are on discount and sell it later on you can probably gain even more cbills relative to this deal. I guess if someone is lazy enough to just buy cbills they will be too lazy for the math.
